Keep your air source heat pump free of snow

December 28th, 2009

Happy Holidays from the entire team at Heating & Cooling Two, Inc.!

With the recent major snowfall that we just got dumped on us here in the Twin Cities Metro Area, just a reminder that if you’ve got an air source heat pump, it needs to be able to breathe!  If the coils on the unit are covered with snow, it will not be able to pull in the proper amount of air and then will not be able to heat your home.  This will cause major inefficiencies with your home heating system, one that is designed to be very efficient.

If you think your air source heat pump is not operating properly, feel free to give us a call and one of our trained technicians will come out and diagnose the problem.
