Heating & Cooling Two, Inc., the Twin Cities’ premiere heating, air-conditioning and indoor air quality experts since 1980, are proud to announce that they will be providing bilingual service to all Spanish-speaking customers beginning March 12, 2010. Their website has also undergone a makeover recently; you will now find an entire Spanish section of the website. “At Heating & Cooling Two, our commitment has always been to our customers. We recognize that there is a large Hispanic population in the Twin Cities area and we know that it can be difficult for them to find someone who can speak their language. We feel that if we can provide service to these customers in their own language, they will have a sense of confidence when they do business with us, and will know exactly what they are getting,” said Bill Hausmann, Vice President of Heating & Cooling Two. 

The initiative to become the first full-service HVAC company in the Twin Cities to provide service in Spanish began in December of last year when Hausmann’s brother Jeff, who is completely fluent in Spanish, joined forces with the company. Jeff, who lived in Latin America for a total of 6 years, can relate to this client group’s needs and provide language appropriate and culturally competent services to them.

Says Jeff “most people know very little about their HVAC equipment, and it can be extremely confusing and difficult making decisions about replacing or repairing your equipment even when you speak the same language as the experts. Imagine the added confusion of not understanding the language these ‘experts’ are using to explain things to you. There is also the added fact that these repairs and purchases imply a significant financial investment. We want to make sure that we are listening to our customers and meeting their specific needs.”
